Pokémon 30th Anniversary: Global Campaign Celebrates Iconic Franchise

The accompanying commercial brought together an impressive line-up of famous fans, including Lady Gaga and Trevor Noah, but also Formula 1 legend Charles Leclerc and a number of others. The Pokémon Company wants to show how broad and diverse the community now is, while at the same time breathing new life into the classic schoolyard debate: which Pokémon is really the best?

In addition to the digital campaign, where fans use the hashtag #Pokemon30, physical events are planned throughout the year. These fall into two categories: the family-friendly “Day Out” events with interactive activities for all ages and the “Night Out” events, specifically aimed at adult fans who grew up with the franchise.
