The world community is already counting the days until Pokémon Day 2026which will be held next February 27. This date is no coincidence: it commemorates the original release of Pokémon Red y Green in Japan in 1996. This year, the celebration is doubly special, as the franchise turns 30 years of history.
The Pokémon Companyled by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures Inc., usually uses this day to launch “bombshell” announcements, events in Pokémon GO and previews of future video games. 2026 is expected to be a historic year in launches to celebrate three decades of capturing creatures and uniting generations under the motto
