A violent intrusion at Bradbury Place
The incident took place on the evening of Monday, August 12. A man entered a restaurant in the Bradbury Place area of South Belfast shortly before 9:00 p.m. Witnesses reported that the individual began shouting racial abuse at staff and customers. During the confrontation, the man allegedly discharged a fire extinguisher, spraying the contents across the premises and onto diners. No serious injuries were reported, though the incident caused significant disruption and distress to those present. The suspect fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

The PSNI has officially recorded the event as a hate crime due to the nature of the verbal abuse reported by witnesses.
