Toronto Police Identify Victim of Liberty Village Stabbing
Toronto police have identified Marcel Cardiff as the victim who died following a stabbing in Liberty Village on Friday night. Cardiff, who was in his early 30s, succumbed to his injuries in hospital, according to acting Det. Sgt. Munish Dhoum.

Cardiff was transported to St. michael’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigation Status
Police are currently seeking surveillance footage and witnesses to aid in the investigation. the suspect is described as approximately five foot eleven inches tall and was last seen wearing black clothing, as stated by Dhoum.
