Unauthorized Travel and Fraudulent Day Passes

Federal prosecutors allege that rapper Pooh Shiesty maintained an inappropriate personal relationship with a case supervisor at Volunteers of America (VOA) while under home confinement, a breach of supervision that allegedly facilitated unauthorized travel. According to court documents obtained by XXL on Friday (June 26), the employee entered fraudulent day passes into the monitoring system, allowing the rapper to circumvent court-ordered restrictions.

The Dallas Incident and Employee Termination

The federal filing details a pattern of behavior involving a case supervisor tasked with monitoring the rapper’s court-mandated home confinement, which followed his 2022 federal conviction on conspiracy and drug trafficking charges. Prosecutors claim the employee entered unauthorized day passes into the VOA system, granting the rapper freedom to travel outside his restricted zones.

The Dallas Incident and Employee Termination

The documents allege this relationship was active during the time surrounding an incident involving Gucci Mane. Prosecutors state the employee contacted the rapper 19 times on the day of the alleged kidnapping and robbery at a Dallas recording studio and entered three separate unauthorized day passes for that date. VOA has since terminated the employee involved in the oversight.

Defense Counsel Rejects Allegations

Kent Schaffer, the attorney representing Pooh Shiesty, denied the allegations of impropriety in a statement provided to XXL. “We do not believe that there was anything inappropriate about our client’s relationship with any of the house arrest supervisors,” Schaffer stated. “That is not what he is on trial for and is simply a distraction.”

Documented Patterns of Non-Compliance

Beyond the alleged relationship with the supervisor, court records indicate the rapper faced multiple disciplinary issues while under monitoring. Prosecutors documented at least four specific violations between late 2025 and early 2026:

  • November 2025: Provided a urine sample deemed “cold,” which officials logged as a refusal to submit to testing.
  • January 2026: Failed to attend a urinalysis appointment, citing transportation difficulties.
  • March 2026: Failed to appear for a mandatory biweekly check-in.
  • Weeks later: Failed to attend a drug test, again citing issues with transportation.

Trial Date Set for 2027

Pooh Shiesty remains in custody as he awaits trial for the robbery and kidnapping charges stemming from the incident in Dallas. While his legal team continues to pursue bond, the court has not granted his release. The trial is currently scheduled to begin on February 22, 2027.
