On Wednesday, a passenger first spotted the possum peering out from a display of stuffed kangaroos at the airport’s departure terminal shop, according to Liam Bloomfield, a retail manager at Hobart Airport . Bloomfield recounted that staff initially dismissed the report as unbelievable. “A passenger reported it to …. “I’m imagining it saw some of the plush animals that were for sale on the shelf, and it decided to make its home with those,” Bloomfield joked. “It wanted to blend in.”
