We have compiled the most important information for you below to pre-order influenza vaccines for the 2026/2027 flu vaccination season.
Patients ≥ 60 years

Patients aged 60 and over can receive the high-dose flu vaccine Efluelda® or with the MF59-adjuvanted influenza vaccine Fluad® be vaccinated. Since October 2024, the STIKO has recommended an MF-59-adjuvanted influenza vaccine in addition to the use of a high-dose vaccine for all people aged ≥ 60 years.
Patients < 60 years
Various normal-dose vaccines are available for patients < 60 years of age. When ordering the normal-dose vaccines, please refer to the one listed below for an economical prescription Price table.
Pre-order rate
As in previous years, we were able to achieve a pre-order rate of up to 115 percent compared to the flu vaccinations provided in the 2024/2025 vaccination season with the health insurance companies. This applies to both pre-orders above 60-year-old patients as well as for those under 60 year old patient.

For Statutory benefit patients (Patients < 60 years without medical or occupational indication) influenza vaccines will continue limited to the number of consultation hours required (SSB) prescribed. For Compulsory benefit patients (Patients ≥ 60 years and patients with medical or professional indications) the prescription is carried out as usual via the Consultation hours required.
In the 2026/2027 vaccination season, please ensure that you do not issue flu vaccine prescriptions in the name of the patient, neither for the mandatory service nor for the statutory service exclusively via the consultation hours requirement route. Otherwise there is a risk of recourse claims from the health insurance companies.
