In connection with a birthday interview, the princess reveals a well-kept secret.

The fact that things have been stormy for the Norwegian royals lately is not to be taken for granted.

But in some royal circles, they have more joyful things to think about during the day – for example, the Danes can smile that Princess Marie (50), Prince Joachim’s (56) wife, has just gone through an ever so small milestone.
Just three days ago, the princess turned 50, and is thus halfway to a hundred. This is of course something that is praised, and among the things Princess Marie has done this week are interviews.
Here in Norway, it also happens that the royals give exclusive interviews in connection with special anniversaries, and for the Danish princess her 50th birthday was such an occasion.
Durek lost his mother
The interview was conducted with the Danish magazine Picture-Magazineand among what the princess answers is a sort of round of questions. She must complete five statements, and the answers to one of them must have surprised the journalist behind the interview.
“What few people know about me is that I …”, is the first claim.
– Is afraid of flying. Yes, really scared. I have a fear of flying. It’s terrible, reveals the princess.
According to Billed-Bladet, this is completely unknown information, and something Marie has never talked about before.
STRONG STATEMENT: During the commemoration of the Sami’s national day, the crown prince gave a long-awaited update on the recent past.
She is also asked what she is proud of having achieved now that she has turned 50.
– I have had the most wonderful children. That was a nice answer!
Princess Marie and Prince Joachim have two children together, Count Henrik (16) and Countess Athena (24). Joachim has sons Count Felix (23) and Count Nikolai (26) from his marriage to Countess Alexandra (61).
– Lots of warmth and care in a tough time
What Princess Marie, on the other hand, wishes she had done more of in her first 50 years is read more.
Marie and Joachim have lived in France for a long time, and she is also asked what she misses most about living in Denmark.
– My friends and family, of course.
