Princeton Men’s Golf Prepares for Johnnie-O at Sea Island
St. Simons, Ga. – The Princeton University men’s golf team is set to compete at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island Resort, hosted by Rutgers, from Monday, March 9th, through Tuesday, March 10th.1 The tournament will be held at the Sea Island Resort on St. Simons Island, Georgia, a venue known for hosting the PGA Tour’s RSM Classic.3

Princeton is one of 15 teams participating in the event, standing as the sole Ivy League representative.1 The Tigers, currently ranked No. 86 nationally, will face a competitive field including: No. 45 Cincinnati, No. 56 Florida Gulf Coast, No. 64 Georgia Southern, No. 42 Kansas, No. 97 Kennesaw State, No. 58 Memphis, No. 85 Minnesota, No. 89 N.C. State, No. 69 Nebraska, No. 23 Notre Dame, No. 70 Rutgers, Penn State, UNC-Greensboro and No. 44 West Virginia.1

Tournament Format
The Johnnie-O at Sea Island will begin with 36 holes played on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.4

Rutgers University is hosting the fourth annual Johnnie-O tournament at Sea Island Resort.3 The event provides a test for the Scarlet Knights and other competing teams on a professional-caliber course.
