Attack on U.S. Consulate in Karachi

Hundreds of protesters stormed the U.S. Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan, on Sunday, March 1, 2026, smashing windows and clashing with security forces. Pakistani police responded by firing tear gas to disperse the crowds who had breached the outer wall of the consulate according to reports. At least six people were killed and several others injured during the clashes . Sounds of gunfire were reported and video footage showed burning vehicles outside the consulate’s main gate.
