Sony Offers Three Months of Free Apple Music on PS5

Sony is giving PlayStation 5 owners a special deal: three free months of Apple Music when you use it on your console. This offer is worth around $30, but not everyone can get it.

You can only get this offer through the Apple Music app on your PS5. It’s for people who are new to Apple Music and some who used to subscribe but don’t anymore. Sony and Apple haven’t said exactly who qualifies as a “returning” user, but it seems like the trial is for people who haven’t had an active Apple Music subscription for a while.

To get the free trial, download and open the Apple music app on your PS5 and sign in with your Apple ID. if your account is eligible, the three-month trial will be added automatically. This offer is available until March 18, 2026, and it only works on PS5 – you can’t get it on other Apple Music platforms.

With the free trial, you get full access to all the music on Apple Music and features that work with your PS5, like playing music in the background while you game. After the three months, your subscription will automatically start charging the regular monthly price unless you cancel it.

Sony and Apple have done similar deals before, but the same rule applies: not everyone will qualify. If you already have an Apple Music subscription, don’t assume you’ll get this offer.
