With the total absence of the anticyclone, the door to the Atlantic will remain wide open in the new week too, through which yet another series of disturbances will pass which will also affect Puglia.
As reported by the meteorologist of 3bmeteo.com Lorenzo Badellino, the first will reach the region in the early hours of Monday, with intensifying rains especially in the central-southern provinces and more persistent phenomena in Salento.
Temperatures will drop, with maximums expected in Foggia, Bari, Brindisi and Lecce around 13°C. In the evening the front will begin to weaken, moving away towards the Adriatic, and on Tuesday morning gradual clearing will take place which will continue until the evening.
On Wednesday a new disturbance will affect Puglia, causing a rapid worsening with rains intensifying during the day, but easing already in the evening, when the front will begin to move away towards the east.
Brief respite on Thursday in the early hours of the day, awaiting the arrival of another disturbance which will cause a further worsening of the phenomena, including thunderstorms, during the day.
The last rains are expected until Friday morning, followed by an improvement which, again, could be short-lived.
