Pukkelpop 2026: Tickets Sell Out in Record Time, Lineup Expands
Pukkelpop, the renowned Belgian music festival, has once again demonstrated its immense popularity, selling out all ticket tiers in an unprecedented timeframe. Combination tickets vanished within 36 minutes of going on sale on February 14th, marking the fastest sellout in the festival’s history. All day tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are similarly completely sold out, just three weeks after initial sales began.
Record-Breaking Sales
“This is the fastest sale ever, very impressive,” stated Pukkelpop spokesperson Frederik Luyten to VRT NWS. “It’s nice to notice that everyone is looking forward to Pukkelpop. We’re going to make it another great weekend.”
The Pukkelpop Experience
When asked about the secret to such rapid ticket sales, Luyten attributed it to “a mix of strong musical interpretation and a contemporary festival experience.” He added, “For many people, our festival is the ideal holiday in their own country.”
Expanding Lineup
Festival organizers have hinted at further additions to the already impressive lineup. “We will be adding a lot of nice things to our poster in the coming weeks. Let the summer come!” Luyten proclaimed.
Current Lineup
The current lineup includes Florence + The Machine, Yungblud, Tyler, the Creator, SOMBR, and Zara Larsson. Additional artists confirmed to perform are Roxy Dekker, Underworld, Deftones, Geese, and DJ Pendulum.
Recent Security Incident
In August 2024, a security agent at Pukkelpop was dismissed after striking a festival-goer. According to VRT NWS, the agent will not be employed at future Pukkelpop events. The incident occurred after attendees lit a little fire with waste material, leading to a confrontation with security personnel.
Despite this incident, Pukkelpop organizers emphasize their commitment to safety and a positive festival experience. Frederik Luyten stated, “The behavior of this security agent is totally unacceptable.”
