Purdue Fort Wayne Men’s Golf Team Shows Promise at Savannah Intercollegiate
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men’s golf team is competing at The Savannah Intercollegiate, held at The Club at Savannah Harbor. Despite challenging conditions that limited play to one complete round on Saturday, February 21, the team demonstrated a strong performance, positioning themselves well in the 18-team, 108-competitor field.
Current Standings
As of Saturday’s play, Purdue Fort Wayne stands at +8 trailing only Queens (+5) and Creighton (+6). Creighton completed both scheduled rounds, even as Queens, like the Mastodons, will finish their second round on Sunday before beginning round three. The Mastodons carded a +2 (290) in the first round and are currently at +6 through 17 holes of the second round.
Individual Performances
Justin Hicks is leading the charge for Purdue Fort Wayne, currently tied for second place overall at -3. He recorded a three-under 69 in the first round, highlighted by three birdies, and is currently even through 17 holes of the second round.
Brock Reschly completed both rounds on Saturday, finishing with a total of 145 (71-74) and recording five birdies throughout his rounds.
Nick Holder is poised to complete just the second hole of his second round after shooting a 77 in the opening round and currently sitting at +1 in round two.
Julian Dugan finished both rounds with a score of 151 (76-75), while AJ Agnew also concluded both rounds, posting a 153 (74-79).
Competing as individuals, Cody Coleman shot a 71 in the first round and will finish the remaining holes of the second round, currently at even par. Nick Bellush also completed both rounds, finishing with a total of 151 (75-76).

Play will resume on Sunday at 8 a.m. As the Mastodons aim to complete the second round and compete in the third round of The Savannah Intercollegiate.
