Who is Affected?
Customers of Raiffeisenbank in the following federal states who were offered fund products before december 31, 2017, may be eligible for a refund.this is due to “existing commissions” (commissions received by the bank from investment companies) not being adequately disclosed.
Deadlines (as of January 29, 2026):
* February 28, 2026: burgenland, Tyrol, Styria, Salzburg, and Vorarlberg.
* April 8, 2026: Upper Austria and Carinthia.
* Expired: Lower Austria and Vienna (deadline was the end of last year).
How to Claim a Refund:
- Register Online: Eligible customers can register for the refund campaign through the Association for Consumer Information (VKI) website: http://www.vki.at/kick-back-2025
- Recieve an Offer: After registering, you will receive an individual refund offer.
Why is this happening?
The VKI states that undisclosed existing commissions are inadmissible and must be repaid. Out-of-court settlements have been reached wiht Raiffeisen institutes in the affected federal states.
