Not long after the return of eight-cylinder forks to the Ram 1500 model, the American brand, focused mainly on pick-ups and commercial vehicles, also presented a new generation of its extreme pick-up with the traditional name Ram 1500 SRT TRX. The T-Rex, as the car is called, should be the top predator in its segment.

Under the hood hides a 6.2-liter supercharged engine that offers a maximum output of 788 horsepower. Compared to the previous generation, the performance has increased by 76 horsepower. In addition, the new Ram TRX overshadows its main competitor, the eight-cylinder Ford F-150 Raptor R loses 68 horsepower to it.

The powerful engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to a standard all-wheel drive system. An honest American pick-up can thus accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds, and its maximum speed should reach 190 km/h. It should thus be the fastest production road pick-up with a gasoline engine.

In addition, however, the Ram TRX is equipped with a sophisticated chassis with a new generation of shock absorbers that ensure high lift and enable fast driving even on challenging terrain. The car is also decorated with special graphics, distinctive towing eyes and specific accessories.

The cabin offers a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.5-inch infotainment display with special graphics, a 10-inch head-up display, leather upholstery, carbon accessories, massage seats or a Harman Kardon premium audio system.

The car will arrive on American markets in the second half of 2026 with a price starting at $99,995, which is equivalent to 2.07 million crowns. The automaker does not mention availability in other markets.
