PHILADELPHIA – Ray Priore, the George A. Munger Head Football Coach at Penn, announced today that he is stepping down from his position after 11 years as the Quakers’ head coach and a remarkable 39 years with the program. The announcement was made on November 24, 2025.
A Legacy of Service
Ray Priore’s tenure as head coach began in 2015, and during his time, he led the Quakers to an overall record of 62-43. he secured three Ivy League Championships in 2015, 2016, and 2018 . Prior to becoming head coach, Priore served as the Quakers’ defensive coordinator for 14 seasons, contributing substantially to the program’s success.
