Gaming, Feminism, and Theater: “Reset Your Mind” Bridges the Digital and Stage Worlds
A new theatrical production, “Reset Your Mind,” is sparking conversation by blending the immersive world of video games with explorations of feminism. The play, a collaboration between Theater Jugendstil and Lenautheater, aims to attract younger audiences by engaging with topics they find relevant, such as gaming and social issues.
Bridging the Gap Between Digital and Stage
The impetus behind “Reset Your Mind” stemmed from a desire to understand what resonates with young people. Theater Jugendstil discovered that gaming and feminism were key interests, leading them to become central themes of the production. The play’s creators also sought to inspire interest in acting among young people, prompting a visit from the Art Nouveau team to Stockerau.
Key Players and Roles
Mirkan Öncel played the role of V, whereas Susanne Preissl portrayed gamer Ellie in the production.
