Resto BD Event Returns to Ayguades with 13 Authors and Charity Focus

The 9th edition of Resto BD, a charity event pairing bande dessinée (BD) artists with a restaurant in Ayguades, will take place on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event, hosted at Les Vents d’Anges, features 13 authors creating original comic strips on-site for sale, with proceeds benefiting the 2000 BD charity, which supports hospitalized children, according to the event’s official website.

Renowned and Emerging Artists Attend

Confirmed participants include veteran artists such as Jean-Luc Garrera (Les Oiseaux), Erroc (Les Profs), and Rudy (Les 2 CV et Idéfix). Newcomers this year include Michel Rodrigue, who has taken over the Cubitus series, and Alain Janolle, known for Arsène Lupin contre Sherlock Holmes. Serge Henz, author of Boule à zéro, will also attend, as 2000 BD is the charity he supports this year.
