Italy’s Revenue Agency to Temporarily Suspend Invoices & Fees Portal for Maintenance

From 1:00 PM today, March 21, 2026, the Invoices and Fees portal operated by the Italian Revenue Agency will be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Access will be restored at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Maintenance Details and Service Continuity

The suspension is to facilitate the implementation of a new graphic interface designed to improve the usability and efficiency of the portal’s services. During the maintenance window, the transmission of electronic invoices will not be affected. Electronic invoices can continue to be sent and received through existing technical channels, including the Exchange System (SDI), PEC (Certified Email) and connected management software.

Though, other services accessible through the Invoices and Fees portal will be unavailable during this period. This includes the connection between Points of Sale (POS) and Telematic Recorders.

New Graphic Interface Launching March 22nd

The Revenue Agency has announced that the maintenance will result in a completely redesigned graphic interface for the Invoices and Fees portal. The primary goal of this redesign is to enhance navigation and make the portal more intuitive for users. The core functionalities of the portal – consultation, generation, and storage of invoices and fees – will remain unchanged.

The updated portal will continue to support both electronic invoicing and the management of fees, including the new POS-RT connection service that debuted in March 2026.

Impact on Businesses

Businesses utilizing the Invoices and Fees portal should plan accordingly for the temporary disruption of services. Although electronic invoice transmission remains unaffected, access to other portal features will be unavailable until maintenance is complete.
