Latvian rapper Revolūcija, also known as Lūcija Bāliņa, has released a new single titled “Sulu Laiks” (Birch Juice Time), featuring vocalist Amanda. The song, released on March 16, 2026, explores themes of passion and intimacy, a topic Revolūcija notes is rarely addressed directly in Latvian rap.

A Song About Love and Connection

According to Revolūcija’s support team, “Sulu Laiks” stands out for its candid portrayal of a loving relationship, emphasizing shared interests and quality time spent together. Revolūcija herself expressed a desire to contribute to a growing trend of female artists openly discussing love and intimacy in their music, inspired by international counterparts.

Creative Team and Production

The track was produced by Shenfi (Artūrs Šēnfelds), with recording, mixing, and mastering handled by Tablis (Toms Horsts) at the “401” studio. Elza Dandzberga created the song’s visual design, and the accompanying photo features Revolūcija with her partner, to whom the song is dedicated.
