Ricochet Apologizes for Insensitive Social Media Post

AEW star Ricochet has issued an apology after facing significant backlash for a controversial social media post. The incident stemmed from a response to a fan’s criticism of his acting abilities, where he wrote, “I’m glad you got MS,” before deleting the message .

Initial Response and Apology

Ricochet initially appeared to defend his actions, stating on Sunday, “Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little b****** who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who attempt and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little b****** can’t take it when I do it back to people.”

However, he later apologized for the post on Tuesday, explaining, “I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I’ll do better.”

Ricochet’s AEW Career

Ricochet has been a prominent figure in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since All In 2024. He achieved a milestone by becoming the first-ever AEW National Champion late last year, but subsequently lost the title to Jack Perry at AEW Revolution Zero Hour this past weekend.
