Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home was the target of a shooting on Sunday, resulting in the arrest of a 35-year-old woman, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, on suspicion of attempted murder. Fortunately, Rihanna and her family were home at the time of the incident but were unharmed.
Details of the Shooting
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Ortiz allegedly fired multiple shots toward the property from a white Tesla. Approximately ten gunshots were heard near Rihanna’s residence Fox News reported. Police dispatch audio revealed the shots were directed toward the gate of the property.
Following the shooting, officers pursued Ortiz in an LAPD helicopter to the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, where she was apprehended. A search of her vehicle revealed an assault rifle and seven casings Fox News and CBS News confirmed.
Suspect and Charges
Ivana Lisette Ortiz has been booked on a charge of attempted murder, and her bail has been set at $10,225,000 ABC News reported. The motive for the shooting is currently under investigation.

Multiple rounds struck the exterior of Rihanna’s home and a vehicle parked in front of the property. However, no bullets penetrated the inside of the residence ABC News stated.
