Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Public Prosecutor stated that the son of oil merchant Mohammad Riza Chalid, namely Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza, was sentenced to 18 years in prison. In addition, the compensation demanded by the prosecutor is IDR 13.4 trillion.

This is related to the corruption case in the management of crude oil and refined products at PT Pertamina (Persero), Subholding and KKKS for the 2018-2023 period.

After reading the demands, Muhammad Kerry Adrianto Riza opened his voice. He stated that he was not involved in the case.

“As I have stated the facts of the trial, all the witnesses presented have said that I was not involved in this case,” he said at the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor) of the Central Jakarta District Court (PN Jakpus).

He also asked for justice. On this occasion he also wanted President Prabowo Subianto to see this case directly.

“I ask for justice for me. I really hope that in this situation Mr. President Prabowo can see my case clearly and objectively. He is a great and wise statesman who I am sure does not want criminalization in this country,” he explained.

At the end of the finale, he again asks for justice in his case.

“I ask for justice for me. Bismillah friends. May Allah protect us all,” he concluded.
