Roy Suryo Barred From Leaving Indonesia in Diploma Case

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Metro Jaya Police explained why they prevented Roy Suryo and others from traveling abroad in the case involving allegations of a fake diploma related to Indonesia’s 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Police also plan to extend the travel ban for Roy Suryo.

Head of Public Relations for Metro jaya Police, Kombes Budi Hermanto, said the ban wasn’t put in place as investigators thought Roy Suryo or others would run away. rather, it’s to make the inquiry easier.
