The team from Rieti arrives at the match with great enthusiasm after three consecutive victories which earned them first place in the standings. The path of the guests is different, as they have achieved one victory and two defeats so far. In the previous match last November, valid for the promotion pool, Loprete and his teammates prevailed with a score of 24-13.
“After the nice week spent with the boys of the national team, our championship resumes with a challenging match against Pomezia Rugby, already faced in the first phase,” commented coach Alessio Carucci. “We are confident in the team’s ability to demonstrate the required progress in both the offensive and defensive phases, thanks to the good work done during the break. We also hope to recover some of the injured players, awaiting everyone’s full return.”
Weekend full of events also for the Amarantocelesti youth teams.
On Saturday 14 February at 3.30pm the Under 14s will face L’Aquila Rugby Experience.
On Sunday 15th, in Morlupo, as part of the “Rugby Festival”, at 10:00 the Under 8 and Under 10 teams will take to the field, while at 11:00 it will be the turn of the Under 16s, playing against Paganica.
For Under 14s and Under 16s the tutoring process continues with the Polisportiva L’Aquila Rugby.
