Rush Announces 2027 Tour Dates for UK, Europe, and South America
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Rush are set to return to the stage in 2027 with a series of shows across the UK, Europe, and South America. The “Fifty Something Tour” will mark the band’s first performances in Europe since 2013 and in South America in 17 years.
Celebrating a Legacy and Honoring Neil Peart
The tour is a celebration of Rush’s enduring music and legacy, and a tribute to the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. Guitarist Alex Lifeson and frontman/bassist Geddy Lee will perform two sets each night, drawing from a repertoire of over 40 Rush classics.
Lineup and Rehearsals
Lee and Lifeson will be joined by German drummer, composer, and producer Anika Nilles, who has previously performed with Jeff Beck , and keyboardist Loren Gold (The Who, Roger Daltrey). Lee expressed enthusiasm about the rehearsal process, stating, “Both Alex and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika and now Loren, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving, playing some different songs on different nights.”
Tour Expansion Following North American Success
The “Fifty Something Tour” initially launched in 2026 with 22 shows in Canada, the US, and Mexico, which sold out quickly, prompting the addition of further dates. The expanded tour now includes 24 shows across 13 countries in Europe and South America.
