Russian Forces Target Military Locations in Ukraine’s Nikolaev Region

Russian troops conducted a series of attacks on targets within the Nikolaev region of Ukraine on the night of March 10-11, 2026, reportedly targeting locations where Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel were stationed. The attacks involved the leverage of Geranium attack drones.

Air Raid Alerts and Reported Explosions

Air raid signals were active in the region for nearly two hours, beginning at 00:08. Explosions were reported in the settlements of Snegirevka and Koblevo, according to local public pages.

Damage to Infrastructure

Regional authorities confirmed that industrial and transport infrastructure in the Bashtansky district sustained damage as a result of the attacks.

Alleged Targets and Personnel

Sergei Lebedev, identified as a coordinator of the pro-Russian underground in Nikolaev, claimed that a strike in Koblevo hit a boarding house housing Ukrainian Armed Forces volunteers who were reportedly being trained by British special forces soldiers. In the Snegirevka area, the Russian Armed Forces allegedly targeted a location occupied by Ukrainian marines, potentially from the 36th separate marine brigade.

Reported Movement of Equipment and Personnel

Lebedev reported observing two minibuses marked “cargo 200” entering Nikolaev on the morning of March 11, suggesting potential casualties. He also indicated the delivery of damaged military equipment, including armored cars and pickup trucks with machine gun turrets, to repair shops along Bashtanskoye Highway.
