Saint-Pol-de-Léon Celebrates a Festive Weekend with Animals, Art, and Santa Claus
Saint-pol-de-LéonS town center was transformed into a hub of festive activity this past weekend, offering a delightful experience for residents and visitors alike. The event featured a charming array of attractions, including a visit from animals from a local farm, artisan displays, and opportunities for family fun.
Attendees enjoyed the presence of farm animals – chickens, geese, and goats – bringing a touch of rural charm to the heart of the town. Children were delighted by skillful face painting provided by inès Bothorel, while gourmet food stands offered a variety of seasonal treats.
Saturday’s festivities included a lively performance by the Tabass fanfare on Rue Rozière, near the workshops of local artists Jacques de Kerdrel and Marianne Laës. The iconic Kreisker provided a picturesque backdrop for the circulation of a miniature train, adding to the whimsical atmosphere. Carriage rides, pulled by the gentle mare Tina, proved especially popular with young children, culminating in a memorable meeting with santa Claus.
