Samsung Galaxy S26 Series and Buds4 Launch: Pre-Order Details and New Features
Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy smartphones and audio devices at its Unpacked event in late February. The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are now available for pre-order, alongside the new Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro. Samsung is offering significant trade-in deals and exclusive promotions for customers who purchase directly from its website.
Pre-Order Incentives
Customers who pre-order a Galaxy S26 smartphone directly from Samsung can save up to $900 with an eligible trade-in. Even without a trade-in, Samsung is offering a $150 Samsung credit, which can be used towards other Galaxy products. Currently, the Galaxy Buds4 are available for $162, effectively allowing customers to add a pair to their S26 Ultra purchase for just $12 after applying the credit.
What’s New with the S26 Lineup?
The Galaxy S26 series—including the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra—features incremental updates over the previous generation. While battery size and storage options remain largely consistent, the S26 Ultra offers a new Privacy Display feature.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Privacy Display
Exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the new Privacy Display utilizes a pixel-level filter to reduce the viewing angle of the screen, shielding content from prying eyes. This feature can be toggled on or off, or set to activate automatically on a per-app basis.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced at $1299, the S26+ at $1099, and the S26 at $899. The Galaxy Buds4 are available for $179, and the Buds4 Pro for $249. All devices are available for pre-order now, with general availability starting on March 11. Exclusive colorways, including silver shadow and pink gold, are available through Samsung.
Galaxy Buds4 Series
Samsung also launched the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro, emphasizing improved hi-fi sound and enhanced comfort. The Buds4 Pro feature a Super Wide Woofer and enhanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), while both models offer an enhanced Adaptive Equalizer (EQ) to optimize sound quality based on the listening environment.
