Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 takes first place in five European evaluations

In the Netherlands and Belgium, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and the higher-end Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra shared the top spot in assessments published by the Dutch consumer organization Consumentenbond and Belgium’s Test Achats. Meanwhile, in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, the standard Fold8 claimed first place with a score of 81 in evaluations conducted by Altroconsumo, OCU (Organización de Consumidores y Usuarios), and Deco Proteste, respectively. The Fold8 Ultra followed closely behind in those three countries with a score of 80.

Four of these European consumer bodies—representing Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Belgium—designated both foldable models as “Best of Test,” a recognition reserved for the highest-performing products evaluated within their testing cycles.

Performance in US Consumer Testing

The international reception follows similar placement in North American evaluations. In the United States, the Consumer Reports foldable smartphone evaluation placed the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in first place. The standard Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 also secured positions at the top of the publication’s ranking table.
