Samsung Raises Galaxy S26 Series Prices Globally
Samsung has raised prices on the Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup by at least $100 across multiple international markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, mainland Europe, and India, gsmarena.com reported. The abrupt price increases affect the base Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, arriving just months after the devices launched.
According to gsmarena.com, the US market saw price bumps of $100 for the base models and plus variants, while the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra jumped by $200, moving from $1,800 to $2,000. Droid Life noted that starting prices for the US lineup shifted from $899, $1,099, and $1,299 to $999, $1,199, and $1,399 respectively.
Global Price Adjustments Across Regions
The price hikes extend far beyond North America. In Europe, the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra climbed from €1,920 to €2,150. Meanwhile, UK buyers face equivalent increases, with the 1TB Ultra model rising to £1,860 from £1,530. Indian consumers saw the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra climb to ₹215,000, up from ₹190,000. Canadian storefronts reflect similar shifts, pushing the 1TB Ultra model to $2,850.
Despite the sweeping adjustments, certain devices remain untouched. The Galaxy S26 FE, which launched in August, is not subject to this round of price increases, 9to5Google reported. Samsung’s foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8, also retains its previous pricing.
