San José Festivities 2026 to Draw Tourists to Santander, Cantabria

Santander, Spain, is preparing to host the San José festivities in 2026, an event officially recognized as being of Regional Tourist Interest. For the first time, the celebrations will extend beyond the municipality of Astillero, bringing the festivities to the heart of Santander’s Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Cantabria.

A Regional Celebration

The Shipyard Town Hall will install an information tent in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to present the official program of activities for the San José 2026 festivities. Attendees can obtain information about the main concerts and events planned for the celebration. The official program will be distributed on Tuesday, March 10th.

This marks the first time the festivities will be held outside of Astillero, aiming to make the celebrations accessible to residents throughout the Cantabria region.
