SANORD 2026 Conference: Call for Abstracts and Windhoek Venue Confirmed

The Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD) is now accepting abstracts for its 2026 Annual Conference, to be hosted by the University of Namibia (UNAM) in Windhoek, Namibia, from September 22–25, 2026. This event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students from the Global South and North.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Maximum 300 words
  • Include author(s), affiliation(s), and contact details
  • Indicate presentation type: paper or poster

About SANORD

SANORD, coordinated by the secretariat at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, was founded in 2007 and comprises member universities in Southern Africa and the Nordic region. The University of Namibia was selected to host the 2026 conference, building on SANORD’s mission to promote equitable collaboration and sustainable development. Lund University is a member of the SANORD board for 2024 and 2025.
