Sanremo 2026: Second Evening Lineup, Performances, and Voting Details

The second evening of the Sanremo 2026 Festival featured performances from 15 of the 30 competing artists, alongside special guests and challenges for the New Proposals category. The evening commenced at 8:40 PM and concluded at 1:15 AM, broadcast live on Rai 1.

Hosts and Guests

Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini hosted the second evening, accompanied by Pilar Fogliati, Achille Lauro, and Lillo.

New Proposals Challenge

Gianluca Gazzoli presented the four semi-finalists of the New Proposals category: Blind, ElMa e Soniko, Angelica Bove, Nicolò Filippucci, and Mazzariello. The artists competed in direct challenges: Filippucci against Blind, ElMa e Soniko, and Mazzariello against Angelica Bove. The two most voted songs from each challenge advanced to the third evening.

Special Performances and Guests

The evening included performances from:

  • Il Anffas Choir singing “We can give more”
  • Laura Pausini and Achille Lauro performing “16 March”
  • Bresh, hosted by Daniele Battaglia, from Piazza Colombo
  • Max Pezzali, performing from the Costa Toscana ship

Guests included skater Francesca Lollobrigida and biathlete Lisa Vittozzi, both medalists at the Milan-Cortina Olympics, as well as Paralympic athletes Giacomo Bertagnolli (with guide Andrea Ravelli) and Giuliana Turra.

Voting System

For the Big artists competition, the voting system comprised 50% televoting and 50% radio jury. The results determined a ranking, with only the top 5 positions announced at the end of the evening.

In the New Proposals category, the voting system consisted of 34% televoting, 33% jury of the press room, TV, and web, and 33% radio jury.

Lifetime Achievement Award

A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Fausto Leali during the evening.

Evening Conclusion

The evening concluded with a provisional classification and ended at 1:15 AM.
