In 2013, she underwent a thread lift, a minimally invasive procedure designed to combat loose skin associated with aging. According to the Cleveland Clinic, thread lifts offer a less invasive alternative to traditional facelifts.

Ferguson described the procedure as “like garden trellising for sweet peas,” explaining that threads are inserted under the skin to provide lift. The effects of a thread lift typically take a few months to fully manifest and can last up to two years.
