Satekles Biznesa Centrs Sets Fresh Sustainability Benchmark in the Baltics with Record-High BREEAM Ratings

Riga, Latvia – February 18, 2026 – The A-class office complex “Satekles Biznesa Centrs,” developed by Linstow Baltic, has achieved final “BREEAM” building sustainability certifications, setting a new standard for environmentally conscious development in Latvia and the wider Baltic region. Building B attained an Outstanding rating of 89.7% – the highest BREEAM score ever recorded for new construction projects in Latvia and Estonia, and the second highest in the Baltics.

Exceptional Sustainability Performance

Located in Riga’s Central Business District, Satekles Biznesa Centrs combines a prime urban location with forward-thinking, environmentally friendly design. Building B’s Outstanding rating signifies excellence in sustainability, innovation, and design. According to Andis Kublačovs, Development and Sustainability Director at Linstow Baltic, the recognition “confirms the building’s excellence, innovation, and sustainable design.”

The B building achieved maximum possible credits in four out of ten BREEAM categories: Management, Energy, Transport, and Water. Scores exceeded 85% in three additional categories – Health & Wellbeing, Waste, and Land Use & Ecology. Integrated energy efficiency, climate control, and digital management solutions enhance the building’s value and user comfort.

Building C Also Achieves High Marks

Building C of the complex also received a final BREEAM sustainability certificate, achieving an Excellent rating of 76.5%. This result underscores the consistently high quality of the development and its commitment to efficient resource use and international sustainability standards.

Strategic Location and Recognition

Satekles Biznesa Centrs is strategically positioned within a rapidly developing area of Riga, near the Riga Central railway station, the Origo One business center, and the Origo shopping center. Its proximity to major public transport hubs, including the future “Rail Baltica” station, further enhances its appeal.

The project has garnered significant industry recognition, including being named “Project of the Year” at the BREL Forum Awards 2025, winning both the jury and public vote. It secured first place in two nominations at the Digital Construction Excellence Award 2025: “BIM project” and “BIM building object.”

Developer Awarded for Contribution to Riga

Linstow Baltic was also recognized by the Riga City Council with the “Riga real estate company of the year 2025” award, acknowledging the company’s significant contribution to the development of Riga’s center and the creation of the Riga Central Business District.

Project Details

The A-class office complex, opened in 2025, was developed and managed by Linstow Baltic. Architectural solutions and author supervision were provided by SN&L (Sarma & Norde Arhitekti and Lauder Architects). Construction commenced in March 2023 and was completed in June 2025, with Bukoteks SIA serving as the general contractor. Linstow Baltic SIA Forma 2 provided construction supervision and BIM coordination, while UAB SEES Group conducted the BREEAM certification.

The anchor tenant of Satekles Biznesa Centrs is SEB banka, with approximately 2,200 m² of space still available for rent to single or multiple organizations.
