Saudi Arabia Arrests 116 Government Officials in Anti-Corruption Operation

Riyadh – Saudi Arabia has arrested at least 116 government officials from various ministries adn public institutions as part of large-scale anti-corruption operations. hundreds of other officials from across Saudi Arabia are being investigated for alleged bribery and abuse of office.

Teh massive anti-corruption operation follows a series of investigations conducted by the Saudi Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority,also known as “Nazaha.” Okaz and Gulf News reported the news on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Nazaha interrogated 466 individuals during a nationwide anti-corruption operation in December 2025, targeting bribery and abuse of office.
