The AI Illusion and Abandoned Return

Director Kevin Williamson revealed in an interview with Esquire that the film initially played with audience expectations by featuring Stu’s likeness generated through AI. “Scream 7” solidified Stu’s demise. However, Williamson disclosed that a post-credits scene was filmed revealing Stu was, in fact, alive. This scene was ultimately cut after test audiences expressed a preference for Stu remaining dead. “It makes more sense. It’s more real. Why Keeping Stu Dead Made Sense
