Job Details: Security Officer – Day Patrol

As a Security Officer – Day Patrol in Columbus, IN, you will be responsible for safeguarding clients in industries such as Manufacturing &amp. Industrial. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, identifying and reporting security concerns, and providing excellent customer service.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Monday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Tuesday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Wednesday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Thursday: 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors, following site-specific procedures and access control processes.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and effectively, escalating to appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, and document activity per site policy.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with security-related investigations as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
