Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA), a national wealth management firm managing more than $36 billion in assets, announced a strategic partnership with data and technology platform Invent on September 22, 2026, to unify its enterprise data and power a new artificial intelligence framework called “SEIA Brain.” According to announcements from both companies, the collaboration replaces a fragmented, multi-custodian reporting process with a single, governed data lake.

Consolidating Multi-Custodian Wealth Management Data

Managing assets across multiple custodians, business lines, and an in-house turnkey asset management platform created significant operational friction for SEIA, according to company statements. Information previously arrived in different formats and intervals, requiring the firm’s technology team to manually ingest custodial data and route it through a CRM and third-party reporting environment without standardized connectors.

To solve this data fragmentation, SEIA partnered with Seattle- and Los Angeles-based Invent to build a governed data foundation. According to Invent Founder and CEO Oleg Tishkevich, the platform progressively validates, standardizes, and enriches incoming data before routing it to reporting and analytics tools.

“Data fragmentation is one of the most significant barriers preventing wealth management firms from fully benefiting from analytics, automation and AI,” Tishkevich stated, emphasizing that an effective AI strategy requires trusted, governed data rather than isolated use cases.

Powering SEIA Brain and Streamlining Internal Operations

The newly unified data environment serves directly as the technical foundation for “SEIA Brain,” a proprietary AI framework designed to support the firm’s broader digital strategy. According to SEIA President Matt Matrisian, the tool helps employees across marketing, sales, finance, operations, and compliance securely access information, automate routine workflows, and uncover business insights using natural-language interactions.

“As our firm continues to grow, we’re investing in the infrastructure that allows us to scale intelligently,” Matrisian said, noting that the upgrade reduces reliance on legacy software, cuts legacy software costs, and frees technical resources to focus on higher-value initiatives.

Upgrading Reporting Capabilities Through Invent Report Builder

Alongside the data lake implementation, SEIA deployed Invent’s Report Builder, configurable widgets, and micro-applications to completely replace its legacy reporting infrastructure. Authorized users across the national wealth management firm can now create, publish, filter, sort, and export dynamic reports independently.

This capability removes the previous bottleneck that required staff to place reporting requests in the technology team’s queue or rely on third-party reporting specialists, significantly accelerating information delivery across the organization.
