Senhit and Boy George to Represent San Marino at Eurovision 2026

San Marino has selected Senhit, featuring Boy George, to represent the nation at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with their song “Superstar.” This marks Senhit’s fourth time representing San Marino in the competition.

Selection Process and Competition

Senhit and Boy George won the San Marino Song Contest 2026 final, which took place on March 6, 2026, at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana. The competition featured 21 finalists from 13 countries, with the winner chosen solely by a jury vote. The final five contenders were Senhit ft. Boy George, Kelly Joyce, Paolo Belli, Iniz Neziri, and Maya Azucena (with Iniz Neziri and Maya Azucena tying).

Senhit’s Eurovision History

Senhit previously represented San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the song “Stand By,” finishing 16th in the semi-final. She returned in 2020 with “Freaky” and again in 2021 with “Adrenalina,” featuring Flo Rida, where they placed 22nd.

Boy George’s Involvement

Notably, Boy George was not physically present on stage with Senhit during the live performance. He contributed to the songwriting of “Superstar” alongside Senhit, Jonathan Bellini, and Thomas Stengaard. Boy George has a significant songwriting history, having also contributed to entries from the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Austria, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Germany, Denmark, and San Marino in recent years.
