Amentum is actively recruiting a driven Senior Geospatial Consultant to join its expanding Geospatial team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data capture, analysis, and visualization technologies, contributing to both the organization’s strategic goals and the resolution of complex client challenges across diverse market sectors. The position is based in Warrington, Cardiff, London, Newcastle, or Whitehaven, with a commitment to flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Management and analysis of geospatial data.
- Creative delivery of digital outputs for reports, and presentations.
- Collaboration with team members to enhance capabilities.
- Development of innovative solutions to address client needs.
- Mentoring other members of the Geospatial team.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and data integrity.
- Staying current with the latest geospatial and GIS trends and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field (2:1 minimum). A strong background in the advanced use of GIS software, particularly the ESRI product suite, is essential. Experience with geospatial software and task automation using FME and/or Python is highly desirable.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with creativity and attention to detail. The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively are also crucial. A high level of personal accountability and a drive to succeed are expected.
