Seplat Energy Launches 2026 Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, Empowering Nigerians in Renewable Energy

Seplat Energy has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, aimed at equipping young Nigerians with practical skills in the renewable energy sector. The programme focuses on building capacity in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar and mini-grid systems, addressing energy access challenges in underserved communities.

Programme Details

Since its inception, the Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Programme has provided participants with practical training and real-world experience in clean energy solutions. The programme aims to prepare young Nigerians for careers in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. Seplat stated that the programme equips young people with the skills to design, install and maintain solar and mini-grid systems, delivering reliable electricity to communities and expanding access to power in underserved areas.

To date, the programme has trained 129 participants since its launch in 2024.

Application Information

Applications for the 2026 programme are now open and can be submitted through the official link: Seplat Youth Entrepreneurship Programme Application Portal. Applicants are required to have a valid personal email address for communication purposes. The application window closes on March 27, 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Additional Opportunities with Seplat

Seplat Energy also offers the Applied Technology Training Program (ATTP) for young Nigerian graduates. This initiative provides participants with world-class oil and gas knowledge and practical skills for entry-level technician roles.
