The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office has released the booking photo of former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore.
The photo appeared on their website Wednesday, Dec. 17,exactly one week after his arrest on Dec. 10, the same day Michigan fired him.
Moore, 39, was terminated by Michigan after “credible evidence” indicated an “inappropriate relationship” with a staff member. Following his dismissal, Moore allegedly entered the staff member’s home, broke in, and removed kitchen scissors and a butter knife from a drawer, according to the Washtenaw County prosecutor.
“I’m going to kill myself, I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands,” First Assistant Prosecutor Kati Rezmierski stated, recounting what moore allegedly said.
Court documents obtained by the Free press reveal the victim contacted her attorney while Moore was inside the house. hearing his vehicle arrive as she prepared to leave town, she attempted to lock the door but was unsuccessful. Moore then allegedly confronted her, but ultimately directed the weapons toward himself, according to a statement.
