Singapore Airlines Increases Taipei Flights to Meet Rising Demand

Singapore Airlines is increasing the frequency of its flights to Taipei, Taiwan, adding four supplementary flights per week until May 2026, to accommodate growing demand from both tourists and business travelers. This expansion will bring the total number of weekly flights to Taipei to 18.

Increased Flight Schedule

The additional flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights departing from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) will leave at 10:45 am local time until March 29, 2026, with return flights departing from Taipei Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) at 4:40 pm on the same day. Starting March 29, 2026, departure times will shift to 10:00 am from Singapore and 4:10 pm from Taipei, continuing through May 31, 2026.

Expanding Network and Services

Singapore Airlines’ network currently encompasses 136 destinations across 37 countries and territories as of January 2026. In addition to the Taipei expansion, the airline has also increased its weekly flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka, to 10 since January 2026.

Northern Summer Operating Season Updates

For the northern summer operating season, running from March 29 to October 24, 2026, Singapore Airlines plans to deploy its Airbus A380 aircraft on daily flights to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline also intends to add more flights to Bangkok, Thailand; Barcelona, Spain; Cairns, Australia; Surabaya, Indonesia; and Yangon, Myanmar, pending regulatory approvals.

Singapore Airlines is committed to enhancing the passenger experience with updated entertainment systems and the progressive introduction of high-speed low Earth orbit satellite connectivity for improved Wi-Fi access on its long-haul fleet.
