WINDOWS BOTH WHEN YOU LEAVE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? WHILE YOU’RE AT HOME. LET’S TURN TO THE WINTER OLYMPICS. IN A MOMENT OF PRIDE AND EMOTION IN NORWOOD AS SKATER MAKSIM NAUMOV HIT THE ICE, ACHIEVING A LIFELONG DREAM. NEARLY A YEAR AFTER THE TRAGIC LOSS OF BOTH OF HIS PARENTS, THE SKATING CLUB OF BOSTON CHEERED HIM ALL THE WAY TONIGHT, AS OUR JENNIFER SAW FIRSTHAND. TAKE A LOOK IN BETWEEN BATED BREATHS. CHEERS FILLED THE SKATING CLUB OF BOSTON AS FELLOW SKATERS AND LOVED ONES WATCHED 24 YEAR OLD MAKSIM NAUMOV, WHO GAVE THE WORLD AN EMOTIONAL FREE SKATE PERFORMANCE. I’M SUPER PROUD OF THE COMMUNITY, IS SUPER PROUD. I WAS REALLY HAPPY THAT HE GOT A CHANCE TO BE AT THE OLYMPIAD BECAUSE HE HE DESERVES IT. HIS WINTER GAMES DEBUT, DEDICATED TO HIS PARENTS, NAUMOV HOLDING THEIR PICTURE CLOSE TO HIS HEART BEFORE AND AFTER PERFORMING. EVGENIA SHISHKOVA AND VADIM NAUMOV WERE AMONG 67 PEOPLE KILLED WHEN THEIR PLANE CRASHED INTO A MILITARY HELICOPTER IN DC LAST JANUARY. THE COACHES WERE AMONG SIX PEOPLE WITH TIES TO THE SKATING CLUB OF BOSTON WHO DIED THAT NIGHT. I CAN’T EVEN IMAGINE HOW DIFFICULT IT’S ALL BEEN, BUT TO BE THERE NOW AND REPRESENTING THE UNITED STATES AND TO BE A PART OF THAT TEAM, HE’S GOT A LOT TO BE PROUD OF BECAUSE THIS HAS BEEN UNIMAGINABLY DIFFICULT. OLYMPIC SKATER AND STONEHAM NATIVE NANCY KERRIGAN, GLEAMING WITH PRIDE TO WATCH HIM SKATE AND TO PUT OUT A PERFORMANCE NOT NECESSARILY HIS BEST, BUT A GOOD PERFORMANCE. AND IT DOESN’T EVEN MATTER. HE’S AN OLYMPIAN. HIS DREAMS OF BEING AN OLYMPIAN, THEY HAVE COME TRUE. THE DEDICATION AND EFFORT OF TEAM USA INSPIRING YOUNG SKATERS TO BE OKAY WITH BEING UNCOMFORTABLE AND PUSH ON FORWARD. DON’T. DON’T DAWDLE IN YOUR OWN COMFORT AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO DREAM BIG. IF I WAS IT WAS. IT WOULD BE FOR THEM. OH, THAT’S SO LOVELY. YEAH. NO DOUBT. TEAM USA IN MILAN-CORTINA IS INSPIRING SKATERS OF ALL
