Sky Sports to Exclusively Broadcast inaugural FIFA Women’s champions Cup in teh UK and Ireland
Sky Sports has secured an exclusive partnership wiht FIFA to become the official broadcaster of the Final Stage of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup™ in the United Kingdom and Ireland.The tournament, featuring the six reigning continental champions, will culminate in a showcase event held in London on January 28th and February 1st.
this competition provides a platform for the world’s top women’s club teams to compete for a prestigious title in years when the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup is not contested. Following initial qualifying rounds, four teams will advance to compete in the final stage.
The semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, January 28th, at Brentford Stadium, with Gotham FC facing SC Corinthians at 12:30, and Arsenal Women FC taking on ASFAR at 18:00. The matches will then move to Arsenal Stadium on February 1st for the third-place play-off at 14:45, followed by the final at 18:00.
