Skyforce to Honor Special Olympics South Dakota with Specialty Jerseys
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce will showcase specialty jerseys in partnership with Special Olympics South Dakota for the fifth consecutive year during their game against the Stockton Kings on Friday, March 13, with a 7:00 PM tipoff.
First PREMIER Bank/Bankcard is once again the presenting sponsor of the game, supporting both the Skyforce and Special Olympics South Dakota.
“We are once again excited to partner with an outstanding organization like Special Olympics South Dakota,” said Skyforce president Mike Heineman. “We are thrilled to welcome all the athletes, coaches and supporters and First PREMIER to the Sanford Pentagon again this season.”
This year’s jerseys feature a black base accented with red and white, and a design that celebrates the athletes of Special Olympics South Dakota. The uniform incorporates a repeating pattern of circular icons representing the diverse range of sports played by Special Olympics athletes, including basketball, cheerleading, bowling, and swimming. The design emphasizes the spirit of competition, and inclusivity. The Special Olympics South Dakota logo appears beneath the player number on the back, complemented by matching shorts with the same sport-inspired pattern.
Fans can bid on the jerseys online through DASH until 8:30 PM on Friday, March 13, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics South Dakota (SOSD). Tickets for the game are available at sfskyforce.com/gettickets or at the Skyforce office located at 2131 S. Minnesota Ave.
