Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, known for her role on MTV’s Jersey Shore, has publicly shared her recent diagnosis of stage 1 cervical cancer. The 38-year-old reality television personality revealed the diagnosis stemmed from years of abnormal Pap smear results, ultimately detected through a cone biopsy.

Polizzi explained in a TikTok video that the cancer was identified as adenocarcinoma. Despite the initial shock, she expressed relief that it was caught early, stating, “Obviously not the news I’ve been hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. She is scheduled to undergo a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread and is considering a hysterectomy, with the hope of preserving her ovaries.
